Pop superstar Janet Jackson lost her chest plate during her Super Bowl XXXVIII half time performance, giving football fans an unexpected peep show. It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far?

CBS Does it again . This time with their teen age affiliate , MTV. What a tasteless organization and what a year they have had.

Kids aren't interested in watching football; the only way CBS can grab that share of the market is by airing that crap. Too bad, I think people that actually want to see entertainment were completely turned off by the whole halftime show. The Pre-game was much better, but how about Josh Groban mellowness BEFORE the teams come out, all pumped up?

Bottom-line, Janet, Justin and MTV will all benefit from the "exposure."

This was totally inappropriate, but when you put trash on stage, what do you expect. I'll take a moving performance by U2 any day. They are just trying to be shocking, but I think this has already been done by Little Kim, and let's not forget Diana Ross feeling her up on stage - live. (yawn).

The New England Patriots have set such a refreshing standard for high character, teamwork and humility that other superstars look pathetic when they try to spotlight themselves (notice the Panthers had no choice but to copy the Patriots' team introduction). It's ironic and unfortunate that MTV and Janet Jackson used a sleazy show of sado-masochism and shock tactics to try and upstage one of the truly great and noble professional sporting events in recent memory. These "entertainers" are so pitifully short of real talent and creativity that this is all they can think of to get attention. Hopefully they will get the message and realize that most of the American public is tired of this crap.

Of course that was supposed to happen. I do admit that perhaps they should be nominated for Emmy Awards for their looks of surprise. Janet Jackson is struggling with her career and needed to do something Britney -ish to stir up viewers. Her career was heading straight toward being a regular on a season of "The Surreal Life" Pre-Breast Exposure...
