Jackson bares breast during half time show
Pop superstar Janet Jackson lost her chest plate during her Super Bowl XXXVIII half time performance, giving football fans an unexpected peep show. It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far? Page 60 It was a disgrace to have brought that Jackson show on for half time.Fortunately i had better things to do with my time than to watch that SWILL!!! Pattavina, Braintree,MA 02184-3911 Enough about Janet's bare breast! Let's shout from the rooftops about the Patriot's Big Win ... that's what the hype should be all about. Enough publicity stunts people!!! From Brittany's wedding to Janet's bare boob ... isn't there an end to all this?! Deb, Boston I missed it because I couldn't take my eyes off of Justin. Dennis G., Wilmington, MA Do I think that the whole Janet getting her top ripped off thing went to far. Yeah, but i dont think its something to make a huge fuss over. The Super Bowl halftime show is a spectacle that people of all ages and races come to see and maybe Justin ripping Janet's breast plate off was something that should not have been done due to the fact that younger people could see that. However, the whole rest of the show was Justin and Janet bumping and grinding so that last little incident was just a little topping for the cake so no big deal. Besides, it's not like the camera showed it and stayed on it for a minute while Janet hopped around the stage. It happend, they showed it and the camera changed within a second. To me it wasn't really a big deal. Manny, Fairhaven Massachusetts Prepare your kids for some "shock" in life, and these kinds of incidents won't carry so much weight. I could think of a million things that would be more shocking to a kid. Are we really going to worry so much about a half-boob shot for a millisecond? CBS and the the other networks show a barrage of shocking images every day on their newscasts. Why is that different? CBS should also stand up and say, "Yeah, we knew about it. Big deal." Now, let's all get back to work. Mike, Quincy Gosh, Grow up American! When can you all deal with sexuality? It is just a small part of the show. You barely saw anything at all. Don't make a big deal out of nothing . So narrow minded. Phil, , Boston Janet and Justin weren't the only offenders. Most of the half-time show was in bad taste. Clean it up, please! Never mind for the children watching, how about the adults! Have we forgotten the meaning of TACT and CLASS? vicki B, Lincoln, MA "Where's the beef?" My how our world has changed since that "cute" advert. of several years ago. One thing hasn't changed, this business (television) is about money. The medium gets more crude each year and I get the distinct feeling that any one of the major networks would offer human sacrifice of their own children if it improved the bottom line. David, Sudbury This was clearly planned and legal action should be taken by the FCC under the Federal Decency Act. Please email the Chairman of the FCC and ask that they take action against ALL parties that were involved (the email address is on their website). Also, the phone number set up by CBS for the many calls they have been receiving is 212-975-5005. Please call them an express your dissatisfaction with this obviously staged episode. Mary, Winchester A reallly really bad halftime show. They had too many crappy pop stars there and gave them each thirty seconds to work with. Having Janet flash the audience doesn't make the situation any better. Anthony, L.A.
