I can't imagine anyone thinking that this was in any way appropriate. You MAY be able to argue that America and CBS acted prudishly about the SHOWING of the breast, but there's no excuse for having a man rip off a woman's top when she was not expecting it (even if it WAS staged). For those who say we're being prudish, how would you feel if I were to rip off your or your daughter's top when you didn't want me to?

I was really appalled at what happened but not surprised considering all the rubbish that has been portrayed on TV lately. Thank goodness my 10 old granddaughter and I weren't watching the Superbowl last night. It's hard to find programs suitable for families anymore, even the commercials are r rated. I hope the public responds because something needs to be done to clean up TV, and when I do watch sports on TV I don't want to see half naked people doing obscene gestures.

Janet Jackson's whole show wasn't tasteful at all. The end was something that was planned, regardless of what the performers say because they think sex sells. I hope they pick entertainers with more morals & REAL telent. She looked like her brother.

Enough already! I am so sick of the pre-game, halftime and post-game crap. Just play ball. Just two more Hollywood morons who can's accept the fact that their fifteen minutes were up 3 years ago. Nice of them to perform that in front millions of children. Class all the way around. There is no truth to the rumor that Janet's brother Michael will perform next year with a choir of alter boys as his background singers.

OH please, that was no worse than Madonna kissing Britney and Christina! It was planned otherwise why would she have the pasty on there? I was watching the halftime show and didn't even see what happened until I heard it on the news this morning. Commercials that are run during regular NFL games are worse than that - example, Pam Anderson dancing around in a wet tee-shirt washing a car?!?!?
