Jackson bares breast during half time show

Pop superstar Janet Jackson lost her chest plate during her Super Bowl XXXVIII half time performance, giving football fans an unexpected peep show. It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far?

I feel bad for all those suckers paying 30 bucks to watch the lingerie bowl. They could have gotten the same view on CBS for free!! :)

Wacko is synonomous with Jackson.

Why is anyone offended by a breast? You can see the same thing in art museums, movies, beaches all over the world. Most people have seen a mother bare her breast to feed her baby--its natural function, in case anyone forgot.

The furor over Janet Jackson's breast baring, an obvious publicity stunt (otherwise why the glittery star over the nipple), says more about the people causing the stink than it does about the entertainers involved.

Get over it.

It is all part of a cultural meltdown. Bare breasts, erectile dysfunction ads, horse emissions, false teeth falling out. We need to stop watching this garbage and stop buying the products.

If you can't realize that the half-time show was a disgrace then you have already become a part of the decay of American pop, and it's American delusion for children of "I just want to be rich like MTV and have no morals." This MTV halftime just doesn't belong on such a worldly event. If you want to see this, fine, go to MTV and watch it--I'm not saying it shouldn't exist. But for most of the world, and all generations, we should not have had to watch such American trash. I'm 28 and confident I understand what's decent and what's not for a world audience. Shame on you CBS thinking that MTV would produce anything better.

I think next year there should be a live porn show for half-time. Oh, wait, thats what we had this year.

A great moment of revenge for Justin Timberlake...Britney must have been pissed!

American football is one of america's symbol of pride. Why do we have to sell sex in order to watch football. Fortunetly ,we live in a country that there is a place and a right time for anything.I'm a photographer and fully against censorship,But showing off crutch grabbing men and breast revelling woman in the middle of a football game! Commmon ! take your act to your concerts ! Are these entertainers so empty handed that they have sell their body parts to get credit!

A costume malfunction? It was more like a crazy publicity stunt that was way out of line. Try explaining it to your 11 year old son who was watching it. And there are those who can say, "a lot worse is being shown on MTV." The problem here is that he is not allowed to watch MTV. How do I keep my kids away from such filth and perversion? It really makes me angry.

No, it is part of entertainment. Although very provocative, and inappropriate for the situation, it does not cross the bounds of the type of entertainment we expect. The only reason this is being discussed, is because of shock-value and publicity. Nothing else.
