Throwing some wood on the hot stove

Have you heard the latest buzz about the seemingly dead Manny-for-A-Rod, Nomar-for-Ordonez blockbuster deal? According to several fan message boards, including sonsofsamhorn.com and bostondirtdogs.com, the official team sites of the Red Sox, Rangers, and White Sox all changed their flags at the top of their sites within an hour of each other at about 2 a.m. today, removing images of the aforementioned players. Spooky! Conspiracy! What do you think is going on???

Maybe people have too much time on their hands. Maybe it was due to the Hall of Fame ballots, and a time for change on their websites. Did any other teams change their flags??

I think it's just a coincidence. The deal is dead.

I think we should cheer for the Pats and their unbelievable season! Hellooo.....everyone is about as tired of the Sox & curses, conspiracy & speculation as they are Britney Spears so " Go Get em Pats! ".

Amy, Quincy

I think that they need to get a life

Sam, Medford

The principle idea behind the deal hasn't changed. I still think A-Rod could be in a Sox uniform by the end of March. Believe in red sox nation!

Liam, San Diego

who cares..those team all suck

I wish they would wait til the PATS finish off their great season. Its football season and baseball had there six months already. I wish it would go away until spring training. Its all very exciting but I am wearing my shoulder pads for a few more weeks.

There is some truth to it. The deal is actually going to be Nomar to Chicago, Manny to Texas, and A-Rod and Ordonez to the Patriots for Ken Walter.

Enough is enough. By the way the Patriots are playing on Saturday. You should watch, they're pretty good this year.

Give me a BREAK! Besides the webmaster is always last to know.... :-)
