Throwing some wood on the hot stove

Have you heard the latest buzz about the seemingly dead Manny-for-A-Rod, Nomar-for-Ordonez blockbuster deal? According to several fan message boards, including sonsofsamhorn.com and bostondirtdogs.com, the official team sites of the Red Sox, Rangers, and White Sox all changed their flags at the top of their sites within an hour of each other at about 2 a.m. today, removing images of the aforementioned players. Spooky! Conspiracy! What do you think is going on???

Guys, seriously. Why start the rumors again? These two sites are full of GEEKS. I can't stand hearing about them anymore. As for the trade.....I think myself like many others have had enough...if it happens then it happens, lets not go through the deadlines again, and the pointing fingers of who was right and who wasn't. If it happens I would just like to all of the sudden hear about it and then judge. Enough is enough.

nothing at all we will win the world series with nomar

I'm still thinking there's a chance, its too many players and too many egos to die as hard as it did. Come on John Henry, let's make a deal!!!!

You people are crazy, and have too much time on your hands....way too much time.

This feels like an episode of unsolved mysteries.... at one time the red sox change thier banner... at the same time across the country a man decides to change the rangers site and white sox... coincidence.. I think not.

WHO CARES.....The SOX are a bunch of losers!

Jim, Walpole

Who gives a crap...the Patriots are in the Playoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K , Lynnfield

Can't say for sure...as much as I would like it to be true, I really don't know if it is just a bunch if coincidences. The one point that intrigues me is Texas taking A-ROD off their site..I mean, if they're not promoting A-ROD, who are they going to promote??

I believe that this deal should be done and will be done as it affects 3 multi talented players and excellant teams. And if it does not happen it would be an injustice to baseball itself as the union, the players, and owners are pricing the everyday fan away with their overpaying, the demands and pricing to pay for these salaries. Not to mention that the principal player involved wants to leave his current team and come to Boston.

vincent , Medford

I never thought it was dead, too much silence only means lots of negotiations of some kind. It is just how it is. The sox are not done, and they won't be ever.........
