Your message to Yankee fans

If you're walking on air today, you're not alone in Red Sox Nation. The Sox took six of seven games from the Yankees over the last 10 days, not exactly payback for last season's playoff ouster, but certainly a good start.

Do you have a message to all those Yankees fans who spent all of last October gloating? Drop us a note and we'll post a top 10 list at the end of the day, and please, resist the urge to use profanity!

You people should know better than to be gloating in April - it almost always comes back to kick you in September!

I would like to commend all Yankee fans on their fine composure over the weekend seris. It is not easy rooting for an overpaid losing organization. But you all did just fine. I'm sure your support will go far in inspiring your loyal players to go the extra mile for you. Just remember pitching and defense wins baseball games, and I'm sure you will soon buy both. (p.s. buy a couple of hits while you're at it)

I've read alot of it's still early comments and am sure there will be plenty more. And while that rings true, let's focus on what has been accomplished thus far. We've taken 6 of 7, a sweep in the Bronx, our #5 starter beat there #1 twice, and our bullpen looks rock solid. Also, keep in mind this was done with the likes of Crespo,Bellhorn,Kapler and Reese. Good players , but can pose weaknesses in the batting order. Either way these games DO COUNT and it is sweet to look at the standings this morning and see a 4 1/2 game lead.

Well, maybe George didn't spend E-N-O-U-G-H. 185 mil is a little below his budget. I bet he wishes he grabbed up Manny now. Larry in N.H.

We've suffered too long without a title to gloat 18 games into the season. Just keep winning. When we win when it counts, I mean REALLY counts, then we can gloat for an entire year, guys. Let's not blow our karma now. Go Sox!

Cowboy Up or Cowboy Down, it doesn't matter. This is THE year Yankee fans - deal with it. Yippee Eye Oh Kyaaaaaa suckers!! HA HA HA!

Yankees Infield of Giambi, Jeter, and A-Rod: $560 million. Red Sox infield of McCarty, Crespo, Reese, and Bellhorn: $2.3 million. The BoSox Sweeping the Yankees in the House that Ruth Built: Priceless.

... you had a cup of warm milk for your weekend hangover, dear Yankees fans? And you're what?...lactose intolerant? Not only are you lacking brain cells, you're in for a long, uncomfortable season. The bathroom's empty, it's all yours.

Whaaa Haapen? I'll tell you what happened. These days, the Sox discover players (Mueller, Ortiz,) with their best years ahead of them. The Yanks just hire the biggest names available and hope their best years aren't behind them, (Giambi, Brown, Lofton, etc.) George is the past. Theo's the future.
