I'm sick of this stuff- in his Dominican press conference last winter, he threw Grady under the bus and said he wouldn't get bogged down in worrying about the contract in '04- "Its up to Boston", he said.....didn't he? wishful thinking apparently! Send him to the bullpen until he improves his attitude....

Pedro-what can you say? Every year its something new with him. Hes a baby-$17.5 million a year and hes still complaining. I am so sick of listenening to these guys complain about money and respect. I was in the service for 4 years and made nothing compared to what they make-I fought for my country and made nothing. Who is he to be complaining about anything? He opens his big mouth and look at the results....3 in a row, and I must say Pedro looked terrible. Its not the first time this season he has looked terrible. Pedro-see you! We can win without you...thats why we got Schilling, thats why we have young guys like Arroyo and Kim that want to play baseball. Stop your damn crying because quite frankly no one gives a damn.

I wish Pedro would just shut up, pitch and earn his 17 million bucks (that he isn't worth) this year. If he has a good year, I am sure the Sox will try to sign him. If he goes to the Yankees for 18 mill a year, I say "see ya." I wish I could make 17 mill a year and worry about a contract extension. Life must be tough for Petey.

The irony is too much. You folks who are "yelling" at Pedro on these messageboards are the same ones who are indirectly paying his salary by buying tickets and watching NESN. It's so ridiculously comical. Keep saying "I'm sick of Pedro and these pro athletes whining", while you shell out $42 for a seat behind a pole in the rightfield grandstand or watch the games and the endless "Giant W.B. Mason's Glass Boston Globes" Pre-Pre Game Shows on NESN. Once again, P.T. Barnum was right.
