OK Sox fans, time to vent

Talk about a June swoon. We can't think of two worse back-to-back losses than the ones the Red Sox suffered Tuesday and Wednesday nights, simply dreadful. Terry Francona seems to be making all the wrong decisions and players are fielding like they've got "Chico's Bail Bonds" ironed on the back of their jerseys.

To make matters worse, these losses were to the Yankees, and dropped Boston 7½ games behind New York in the AL East, the largest deficit since Grady Little's crew fell that low last August.

Things don't appear to be getting any better, either. The Sox were 11-14 in the month of June, and may have lost setup man Scott Williamson with an elbow injury Wednesday night.

The doctor isn't in, but feel free to sit on our couch and vent your feelings on the Sox. Can they turn this around? How? What are they doing wrong? Is this Francona's fault, or does the blame lie higher up the chain with Theo and the Trio? Or are the players to blame? Trade Nomar? Acquire a first baseman? Bring back Grady? It's open season ...

hey sox fans spare yourselves the agony this year

It's hard being a Red Sox fan in a different city. Especially when two months ago one goes around touting this being "THE YEAR". Being reminded of my mistaken confidence still stings. This team needs to be shaken up NOW.

Bring back Daubach for first and put Millar down in Pawtucket. Daubach has the bat (.333 on Pawtucket ro consistent homerun hitter) and rarely makes errors. Daubach deserves the chance over Millar.

When the Yankees were off their game in April, I wasn't concerned. As soon as the dread sox run into a tough stretch their fans and beat writers start a pity party. You know if you focused on your own team success instead of lamenting about our team’s success you'd be a lot happier. Unless you like suffering from pennant envy.

As a Sox fan living in NY surrounded by the worst fans in baseball it is just so frustrating seeing a loss like last night and see those Yankee fans gloating about it all. Please boys, help us out!!

Why did Belhorn start at third over Kevin Youkilis? Youkilis is batting almost 300,and in the last series against the Phillies he went 6 for 12 with 5 RBI's. Belhorn hasn't put up numbers like that in any series this year. Francona is terrible.

Trade Nomar for Brett Boone. Move Pokey to SS. Fire Francona and replace him with the RemDog! Trade for Russ Ortiz and Sweeney.

I have been physically nautious at the play of the Red Sox this year. They have taken the fun out of watching the game because I just get stressed out and frustrated. At 26 years old, I am starting to wonder if I will ever witness a world series title in Boston.

That was a great game last night.....sorry i just threw up in my mouth, what is going on. Ill tell ya, Francona rocks back and forth like a moron on the bench wondering what to do. I watch Torre hit and run, steal, play people in the right situation, damn we need a manager, MANAGER TERRY MANAGE DAMN YOU. Nomar is lost I dont know what his deal is, too much pressure finally maybe who knows. Im converting to a Devil Rays fan I give up.

Wow! I've only been a Sox fan for about 8 years and I've never felt so much pain following a team. Maybe they should do what the Indians did and blow out the team and maybe we wouldn't have the huge expectations for a championship and just enjoy the game. Hey, at least we have the PATS....
