OK Sox fans, time to vent

Talk about a June swoon. We can't think of two worse back-to-back losses than the ones the Red Sox suffered Tuesday and Wednesday nights, simply dreadful. Terry Francona seems to be making all the wrong decisions and players are fielding like they've got "Chico's Bail Bonds" ironed on the back of their jerseys.

To make matters worse, these losses were to the Yankees, and dropped Boston 7½ games behind New York in the AL East, the largest deficit since Grady Little's crew fell that low last August.

Things don't appear to be getting any better, either. The Sox were 11-14 in the month of June, and may have lost setup man Scott Williamson with an elbow injury Wednesday night.

The doctor isn't in, but feel free to sit on our couch and vent your feelings on the Sox. Can they turn this around? How? What are they doing wrong? Is this Francona's fault, or does the blame lie higher up the chain with Theo and the Trio? Or are the players to blame? Trade Nomar? Acquire a first baseman? Bring back Grady? It's open season ...

How the hell am I suppose to believe there is no curse after last nights game?

I really think Francona should be fired. What were they thinking when they hired this guy. He leaves pitchers in too long, plays Millar in the field(at least Ortiz can hit ). After what Millar said this offseason (A-Rod over Nomar) don't you think he should be the one to go! He absolutely stinks. The Red Sox should just clean house and let the younger players play. Maybe they could play with a little more heart then the veterans. I've been a Red Sox fan for 30 plus years and I never had a sour taste in my mouth like I do this year.

FIRE FRITO! FIRE THEO! and for God's sake, BENCH MILLAR! Yes, I think it is time to cut the tie to Nomar--the team plays worse with then without him. Theo: You whiffed on Beltran. See if you can get Beltre for Nomar, straight up. Then resign him, period.

I'm tired of the group hug effort from Terry. It isn't working. Players need to be resposible for their actions on the field, not 'errors happen' that's B.S. I LOVE the sox but I have one foot out the door on this team. I'm ready to bail....

This may not be Francona's fault, but we need to shake things up! Bring back Walpole Joe!

This has been the wosrt june. The Yankees are just a better team. If we lose tonight, we need to make some changes. I mean big changes

It's time to make a change - Francona isn't cutting it.

It is time to face reality. The people who say rivalry are mistaken. You have to be competitive in order to do this. Please no more Yankee )(#*$)(# chants. They don't, they just win. How would you like it if you heard Patriots )#*U$)#*( because they are number 1. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense now does it.

I know I'm in the minority, but I've never been a huge Nomar fan. I definitely appreciate what a good player he is, and what he's done for the team over the last several years. And the 3-run homer the other night was spectacular. But he's not a guy whose name has ever been on the back of any of my shirts. There was so much hype earlier in the season, when the Sox were doing so well, of "Wait until Trot and Nomar come back!" Well, I liked the earlier line-up, and I liked the earlier gloves in the field. I also like the energy -- something that's definitely gone flat post-Nomar/Trot. If Nomar were to go away -- to the bench or to another time zone, I wouldn't be heartbroken.

Here come the..............gulp.......D-RAYS!!!! 3.5 games behind the Sox, they could easily take over the 2nd place spot in the AL East.
