Nomar was mistreated by management and the media, neither one of which ever played a meaningful game. The Red Sox will miss Nomar and all he did for the community. He is a hero to so many kids in New England. If this is MoneyBall, you have to ask if it's worth it. The Sox are not better off with this trade. Francona and Lowe should have been dealt.
