The Red Sox are trying to make up for the failures of their coaching staff with trades. With last year's exception of Todd Walker, who would have thought we would need to trade for a pair of gold gloves this year? Our fielding went from one of the best teams in the league to the Bad News Bears in one year. There is obviously no discipline in the Red Sox training program. What? no they cannot not. this is awful, we did not even get some one to throw the ball. was again.. boston plays 2nd best. chicago made out.. lost nothing. we lost a lot and gained NOTHING.. our spirit is gone. Some say we have curt.. he seems to bring NOTHING to the plate.. no leadership or spirit.. Normar was the only one to claim boston as is winter home....

Yes they played better without Nomar at begining of year. Besides he didn't want to stay here so lets something for him not like Roger and Mo.

I think they can win with this lineup. The pitching is going to be another story. I just still can't understand why Theo did not get another pitcher. I do not think this another Spaceman for Papi trade though.

We can win if...they can make the playoffs....'cause we have Pedro & Curt. Though I don't understand why the Sox did not try harder to get Clement from the Cubs...but at least we got something for Nomar. We can win if...Francona starts to manufacture some runs early in the game and moves Mueller up in the order.

the red sox were winning earlier in the year without nomar, demonstrating that they can win without nomar. more importantly, however, they have warm bodies in place of a contract that would have expired with nothing in return at the end of the season.
