Give the Sox a battle cry

Last season's "Cowboy Up" rally cry is dead and buried, but other themes -- like Red Sox hitting coach Papa Jack's slogan "Somebody Gotta Pay" and Kevin Millar's "Skin it to Win It" (regarding shaving heads again) -- have been bandied about for this squad. So far, though, nothing has stuck.

What do you think the 2004 Red Sox battle cry should be? We'll post your ideas and pick our top 10 on Friday.

The Sox don't need a motto or special haircuts. If they are the professional players I believe they are, all they need do is go out and win. Some of Boston's greatest athletes were low key about their performance or winning and didn't need mottos; e.g., Ray Bourque, Cam Neely, Yaz, L. Bird, Ted Williams.
