Rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson was a highly-touted second-round draft pick expected to bolster New England’s receiving corps after Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez, and Brandon Lloyd were no longer options for Tom Brady.
Dobson has 36 catches for 513 yards and four touchdowns in 11 games. He was starting to show improvement before he injured his foot against the Broncos Nov. 24 and missed the next three games. The 22-year-old wideout had 13 receptions for 228 yards and three scores in the three games before his injury. He came back in Week 16 against the Ravens, adding one catch for 21 yards.
