Five-time world champion Hamid Soryan won Iran’s first gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling, beating Rovshan Bayramov of Azerbaijan in the men’s 55-kilogram class. Iran has 30 overall medals in freestyle but had only a silver and a bronze in Greco-Roman before Sunday.
