About her: This national team veteran has been a staple of USA Hockey since 1999. The Fairfield, Conn., native has played 227 games for the national team, with 66 goals and 112 assists in her career. Chu has been a part of three previous Olympic squads, winning silver in 2002 in Salt Lake City and 2010 in Vancouver, as well as a bronze in 2006 in Turin. She has played in nine IIHF World Championships, winning gold in 2005 and silver in 2001 and serving as team captain in 2012 and 2013. Chu, like many of her US teammates, played her collegiate hockey at Harvard, collecting 88 goals and 196 assists in 129 games for the Crimson.
