About her: Molly Schaus is vying for a spot as a goaltender on the women’s hockey team. The Natick native and Boston College alumna has played 39 games for the national team since 2007, compiling a record of 20-1-3-10. She has allowed just 58 goals and made 686 saves for a goals-against average of 1.49 and a save percentage of .922. Schaus has also recorded 11 shutouts, was a member of the silver medal-winning team at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, and has played in four World Championships, helping the US win gold in 2008.
Decision time: The official roster for the US women’s hockey team will be announced in late December.
