About him: Guldemond was born and raised in Laconia, N.H. and attended the Waterville Valley Academy. The 27-year-old moved to Lake Tahoe in 2005 to pursue a career in professional snowboarding. He won his first X Games gold medal in slopestyle at the 2011 X Games in Tignes, France, and won bronze at the 2011 X Games in Aspen. Guldemond finished first at the 2012 World Snowboarding Championships in Oslo, Norway, and finished the year with the World Champion title. He has won four straight U.S. Grand Prix sprint slopestyle titles. This is his first trip to the Winter Olympic Games as a member of Team USA.
