Buffalo Bills coach Dick Jauron said the team would consider trade offers for starting running back Willis McGahee. "It's in our best interest to listen to everybody, and no people are untouchable," Jauron told the Associated Press at the NFL's annual scouting combine at Indianapolis yesterday. Buffalo's first-round pick out of Miami in 2003, McGahee is coming off a down season in which he finished with a career-low 990 yards rushing, but led the team with six touchdowns rushing in 14 starts . . . Jeff Garcia said he is disappointed he never got a contract offer from the Philadelphia Eagles after leading them to five straight wins and a playoff victory following Donovan McNabb's season-ending knee injury. "I was surprised I wasn't offered a contract. There was never anything to negotiate over," Garcia said in an interview with Comcast SportsNet. The Eagles agreed to a three-year contract extension with backup quarterback A.J. Feeley Sunday, eliminating the chance Garcia would return to Philadelphia . . . Packers quarterback Brett Favre had minor ankle surgery and is expected to recover in time for offseason workouts . . . Defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins signed a four-year, $16 million contract extension with the Packers, his agent said. Jenkins, a four-year veteran, had a breakout season in 2006 with a career-high 6 1/2 sacks . . . The Rams released veteran guard Adam Timmerman, who made two Pro Bowls and started in two Super Bowls for St. Louis . . . Defensive end Chris Kelsay, who had 88 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks last season, signed a four-year contract with Buffalo . . . George Preas, who won two NFL championships on the offensive line of the old Baltimore Colts, died Saturday in Roanoke, Va. He was 73.

Ullrich quits cycling amid scandal
Jan Ullrich ended his cycling career but not the doping suspicions that surrounded the former Tour de France champion. The 33-year-old German, who won the Tour in 1997 and was runner-up five times, announced his retirement eight months after being implicated in a Spanish doping scandal.
