Haydenettes head to world match

The Lexington-based Haydenettes are preparing to represent the United States at the World Synchronized Skating Championships in London, Ontario, this month after recently winning their unprecedented 16th national title in Colorado Springs. "This was an incredible win for the team," said coach Saga Krantz , a Belmont resident.

"Their training, focus, and athleticism, along with an enormous measure of guts and will, gave them the gold."

Campus Corner

Moore, who reached the 1,000-point career plateau this season, leads the Falcons in scoring with 12.4 points per game and also contributes 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and a steal a game. Moore also leads the conference in three-point accuracy (.435).

UMass- Lowell goalie Nevin Hamilton of Ashland is the Hockey East Rookie of the Month for February. The freshman netminder went 4-2-1 with a 1.52 goal-against average, posted three shutouts, and allowed just one goal in the first four games of the month. . . .
