Austria totaled 892.1 points for the four jumps, led by Thomas Morgenstern's individual score of 234.6 points for a jump of 94 meters.

Germany finished with 878.1 points, and Poland had 877.5.

Japan's Taku Takeuchi provided the highest individual score, claiming 244.7 points for a 99-meter jump.

Slovenian Jurij Tepes made the longest jump on the night, setting a hill record with 101 meters to improve Finn Janne Ahonen's record by 2.5 meters.

Last weekend, on the 225-meter hill in Vikersund, Norway, Austria won the gold in the team event of the ski flying world championships.
