Kuronya earned the right to fight in the 2006 USA Boxing Championships, and the lawsuit, filed in US District Court in Portland, alleges that Kuronya and her coach, Robert Russo of the Portland Boxing Club, were not given equal treatment at the 2006 USA Boxing Championships held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs last March.
