Austin Cummings, 25, a 10-year veteran of the Flying Ace All-Stars, tuning up for a trampoline performance at the Ski and Snowboard Expo at the Bayside Expo Center, Nov. 19, 2009 --

"No. 1 thing when you've done tramp shows for 10 years is that you get pretty good at not falling off. Mostly I'm thinking, 'Don't fall off.' I don't want to look stupid. Now it's second nature. I've been doing flips since I was 6 years old. At home [in Utah], I jumped off our deck onto the trampoline. I did a front flip over the fence to the neighbor's trampoline. My Mom put the kibosh on that. Been doing this ever since then. I convinced my teachers in high school to let me work on this instead of going to class. It's second nature. Actually, I flew off a couple of weeks ago. I might have been showing off for some babe in the crowd. Maybe I had a little too much sauce on the taco and went flying off. My Mom doesn't know I'm doing this, so don't tell her -- no, actually she still thinks it's great that I can do what I want to do."
