"SHARK WEEK," 25, of the Nutcrackers, being knocked over by "Ivanna B. Vicious" of New Hampshire during a roller derby at Shriners Auditorium, Wilmington, Sept. 11, 2010 --
"I was probably thinking, 'Oh crap. Oh no, not again.' Being hit by her is like being hit by a ton of bricks. She's sweeping me to the outside. She's effectively getting rid of me in a pack to get her jammer through. I was just falling backwards in a very bad way. That's the last place you want to land. It's unsafe, first of all, because you can break your tailbone. When you're in your skater's stance, you are leaning forward, so you usually land on your side or forward, which is the safest fall. I'ma property manager. They love that at work. They come here and cheer. It's the best thing ever in the world to play roller derb in Boston. We don't make any money. The ticket [revenue] goes to pay for practice spaces and our ads and flyers and stuff and to be part of Women's Flat Track Derby Association."
