On a Sunday afternoon Cory Lancaster, of Medford, an environmental engineer, has just finished gliding his kayak down the brackish river, under the Tobin Bridge and into Boston Harbor. From here downtown Boston is less than five minutes away. ’’I think it's great,’’ says Lancaster, sweat gleaming on his brow. ’’It’s a pretty little river."
