Petra spends countless hours practicing at the Brestyan's American Gymnastics Club in Ashland. The Matthies family sacrifices too, they pay for monthly tuition, the USA Gymnastics membership fee, traveling expenses for her and family members, traveling expenses for coaches, and equipment.
