Greyhound racing at Wonderland Park and thoroughbred racing at New York's Aqueduct Race Track were canceled yesterday because of cold weather.
At post time, the temperature in Revere was 10 with the wind chill factor at minus 7 farenheit.
The temperature in New York was in the single digits, with a wind chill factor below zero.
It was the second straight day that the cold temperature had affected racing. On Friday, racing was canceled after the fourth race. Racing is expected to resume today.![]()
