Morrow Cove easily wins Monmouth Park feature

OCEANPORT, N.J.—Morrow Cove drew off in the stretch to score an easy win in the $75,000 Serena's Song Stakes at Monmouth Park on Sunday, beating Moment In Dixie by 4 3/4 lengths.
Trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by Paco Lopez, the 3-year-old filly ran the mile and 70 yards over a fast track in 1:43:69 and returned $9.80, $3.80 and $3. It was the third win in five career starts for Morrow Cove, who has now earned $104,360.
Moment In Dixie paid $2.60 and $2.20, while Ainsley was three lengths back in third and returned $3.60.
