Russia will host the 2014 Winter Games, but this year’s Olympic hockey team got a jump on the Sochi hospitality committee here last night when it gifted Team Canada easy passage to the tournament semifinals, allowing this year’s hosts to beat the sons of the CCCP around Canada Hockey Place like a rented Soviet-era Zamboni.
