Basketball
Dana Barros: The former Boston College standout played 14 seasons in the NBA, including six with Boston. Barros, who now works with Celtics media relations, was named the NBA's Most Improved Player and an All-Star in the 1994-95 season, averaging a career-high 20.6 points per game.
Gymnastics
Ivan Ivanov: Owner, head coach and instructor at Elite Gymnastics Academy in Ashland, Mass., and a national staff member for USA Gymnastics. Gymnastics experience includes competing in six world championships for his native Bulgaria, six European championships and two trips to the Olympics (1992 and 1996). He won the 1994 European championship on floor.
Track & field
Randy Thomas: The 2001 Track and Field Association's national cross country coach of the year has been a part of Boston College's program for 19 years. In his past eight years, he has helped train 39 BC athletes to All-America awards. Overall, he has produced 46 All-America selections, three national junior champions and one Pan-American Games gold medalist.
Swimming
Jeff Johnson: Johnson has coached swimmers in New England for more than 30 years. He has served as the head swimming coach for the Acton-Boxborough town swim team since 1975, and has coached many swimmers from age 6 through their success on various Eastern Massachusetts AAU and USA Swimming clubs. He founded the Patriot Swim Club in 1991.
