BEIJING -- Kerri Walsh (Saratoga, Calif.) and Misty May-Treanor (Costa Mesa, Calif.) improved their 2008 Olympic Games record to 2-0 with a 21-15, 21-16 win over the Cuban duo of Tamara Larrea and Dalixia Fernandez Grasset in beach volleyball action Tuesday morning at the Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Grounds.

Walsh and May-Treanor, the reigning Olympic gold medalists, will return to Pool B play on Thursday when they take on Nila Haakedal and Ingrid Toerlen of Norway.
