US women move on
The U.S. women's volleyball team scored a hard-won 3-2 victory over Poland to complete play in Pool A with a 4-1 record. The scores of the match were 18-25, 25-12, 19-25, 25-19, 15-13. The Americans placed second in Pool A behind Cuba (5-0) and now advance to the quarterfinals, which begin Tuesday, August 19 at 10 a.m.
