Celebrate Leap Day on a mountain - Wachusett Mountain, to be specific. The ski area is hosting a 24-hour ski party, which includes not only all-night skiing but also a contest that involves digging for cash in a pile of snow and a "secret chair" prize for the person sitting in the right ski-lift chair at the right time. All the trails will be open except for periodic closings to tidy things up. Mountain open 8 a.m.-8 a.m. $20 lift tickets and $20 rentals starting at 10 p.m.; $15 each at midnight; $10 each at 4 a.m. Wachusett Mountain, 499 Mountain Road, Princeton, 978-464-2300. wachusett.com
