  They're even more valuable than the home run kings
So what is an ace? The simple answer might be that he's the best pitcher on a team's staff. But it's not that simple. To be a true ace, a pitcher needs to be the kind of guy who's counted on by his club to win the big games, to be a potential 20-game winner and Cy Young Award candidate, and who draws fans to a ballpark. We take a look at today's true aces.
