Doug Flutie The 5-foot 7-inch Boston College quarterback won the 1984 Heisman Trophy. The Natick High School graduate's most famous play came against Miami in the Orange Bowl, when he threw a 48-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass Nov. 23, 1984. He played professional football for 21 years, including parts of four seasons with the Patriots. He won the Canadian Football League's most outstanding player award six times.
