
J.D. Drew hit a first-inning grand slam in the Game 6 romp of the Indians, as the Sox scored 10 runs in the first three innings against 19-game winner Fausto Carmona. Drew had had only 11 home runs during the season, going 62 games between homers at Fenway. Curt Schilling pitched seven innings, allowing just six hits.
