Individual awesomeness in 2010
Glen Davis, June 10, Celtics vs. Lakers
The rugged forward came off the bench and rescued the Celtics with 18 points in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The Celtics, who had fallen behind two games to one, were lagging and the starters needed rest, so Davis and Nate Robinson led a surge by the bench players that was the key to a Celtics victory.
Davis's primal scream -- and flying spittle -- after hitting a shot and being fouled became an instant iconic moment.
Robinson famously quipped in his postgame news conference that he and Davis were like "Shrek and Donkey," a reference to characters in a children's movie.
