The best hiter ever to play the game. Thank you for serving our country during your prime.....

Even though I am only 24 years old and never had the chance to see Mr. Williams play in person, I can still say that my respect for him both as a hitter and person is monumentous. Ted Williams will always be my hero of bygone era from which the stories my now deceased grandfather passed on to me. My future sons will someday be told of not only the greatest hitter to ever live, but of one the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure of leaning about. Ted, thanx for the memories. Rest in peace. Sincerely, Jesse Colfer
