On Thursday night, Winchester High School will retire number 20 in honor of former wrestler Glen Doherty, one of four Americans killed in a terror attack that began on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012.

The ceremony will start at 6:30, prior to the Sachems’ varsity wrestling match against Woburn, with honor guards and the Woburn Police Department assisting in the proceedings.

As a tribute to Doherty, Sachem athletes will wear camouflage uniforms in a number of athletic events through Feb. 17. Doherty, class of 1988, was a fierce competitor on the wrestling mat and tennis court at Winchester.
