Spring can be the most challenging season for a high school athlete. How do you stay focused on your game and keep thoughts of the beach, pool parties, and lazy summer days out of your mind. It isn't easy. But this spring, lacrosse players in Framingham and baseball players in Duxbury did just that, and there were many others. Deanna Latham, the Globe's Indoor Athlete of the Year had no problems outdoors either, again winning Athlete of the Year honors. At the All-State meet, Latham won the 100 hurdles (14.60) and the long jump (19-3). The Wisconsin-bound senior leaves as one of the most decorated athletes in state track history. More
Dan Slavin shot a 75 in the ISL championship, good for a second place finish. He went 19-0 overall and 17-0 in the ISL this season. The junior will captain the Knights in basketball and golf next year and hopes to play golf in college.
