IT’S WRONG TO JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. It’s perfectly fine to jump to a national title. Newton North’s Carla Forbes proved to be one of the great stories of the spring, collecting individual honors while leading her school to a state championship. And June had other winners. From the amazing success of lacrosse programs in Duxbury and Westwood, to a coach in North Reading who just keeps on winning, the end of the school year produced exciting finishes and plenty of drama. And Forbes? You haven’t seen the last of her. She’ll be a senior next year.
