Newton North’s Carla Forbes proved to be one of the great stories of the spring, collecting individual honors while leading her school to a state championship. And June had other winners. From the amazing success of lacrosse programs in Duxbury and Westwood, to a coach in North Reading who just keeps on winning, the end of the school year produced exciting finishes and plenty of drama.
