The lone senior and a true talent despite playing in his first and only year for St. John's Prep, Bilharz had 203 kills and 80 blocks to prove himself to the rest of the team. The Eagles wisely worked around him to produce a state championship trophy. The Bears had high hopes for the tournament, Newton North pulled off an upset on the Bears' home court, taking a 3-1 win.
