Sara "Gigi" Meehan, Cohasset

Meehan is no stranger to postseason success, having won the Division 2 state title in 2003. Her teams have won nine South Shore League titles in the last 10 years. Cohasset went 19-2 this spring before losing in the Division 2 South semifinals. | |

Helping their team compile a 16-0 regular-season record, Bergeron and teammate Sandra Hyams advanced to the MIAA semifinals and led Needham to the Division 1 semifinals. In Bergerons career, Needham is unbeaten (47-0) in the regular season. | |

A three-time All-Scholastic and South sectional champion, Bitetti improved her career record to 73-4. The National Honor Society member received the USTA 18-and-under Sportsmanship Award and notched a 22-1 record this season. | |
Kristina Black, Andover

Black, a two-time All-Scholastic, posted an undefeated record, teaming with Rikki Sartor to win the MIAA doubles title and lead Andover to the Division 1 state championship. She will attend the University of Maryland. | |

Cadigan went 16-0 this spring, notching her third undefeated regularseason record, and advanced to the sectional semifinals. For the third year in a row, she was named the Tri-Valley League MVP. She will attend URI. | |
Abigail Carroll, Lynnfield

Carroll and Lindsey Buchanan advanced to the MIAA North final and helped Lynnfield win the Cape Ann League title.Carroll also played soccer and ran indoor track for Lynnfield. She will study architecture at Northeastern. | |
Kristina Chao, Needham

Chao posted a 12-2 record, improving her career mark to 43-3. Chao lost in the finals of the South sectional individual tournament and led Needham to the South team title. Chao, an honor roll student, also plays volleyball. | |

Hollender continued to shine this season, After avenging a 2006 tournament loss to Norwells Susan Bitetti, she captured the individual state championship. Hollender led Newton South to a 19-3 record. | |

Jillian Steckloff, Framingham

Steckloff was the No. 1 singles player for Framingham throughout her high school career. This spring she was 14-4 and was a South sectional semifinalist. A Bay State Conference All-Star all four years, Steckloff will attend Trinity College. | |

Named a Dual County League All- Star, Young posted a 16-0 DCL record this season and made it to the North quarterfinals of the individual tournament. She went 72-2 in league matches during her four years and will attend Towson University. | |
