Players of the year

Kerri Connolly, Duxbury
 GIRLS, Sr.
  A two-time player of the year, she shot a 73 in the state team tournaments, helping Duxbury land 7th place with an 380 overall score. In the individual tournament, she took first place, scoring a 64, shooting eight under par.
Luis Bodinaku, Arlington Catholic
 BOYS, Sr.
  A two-time Catholic Central League Champion and this year’s league MVP, Bodinaku went undefeated in his final high school season with a 31.1 point average and 37.7 stroke average. This fall, Bodinaku will be attending Providence.

Coaches of the year

Bill Camelio, Brookline
 GIRLS
  Brookline went 14-2 this spring, and Camielio’s team finished fourth in the MIAA state tournament. Camelio, a Boston Latin grad, has coached golf for 16 years and baseball for 20, splitting time at Needham and newton South.
Mike Maloney, Austin Prep
 BOYS
  Closing out his ninth season coaching, Maloney’s team was crowned this year’s Catholic Central League Champions. Posting an 8-0 season, Maloney’s young team worked well to prove they could achieve success this year.

The All-Scholastics

Larissa Brewster, Barnstable
 Senior
  Barnstable’s co-captain, Brewster was named a league all-star for the third year in a row and contributed to the team winning the Old Colony League title. Competing in the Bay State Games for swimming, Brewster plans to swim at Bentley.
Allison Davis, Mount Alvernia
 Senior
  A 14-handicapper, Davis was named to the MIAA Division all-star list and scored 7th best in the state tournament. The varsity captain and honors student will be playing in the WGAM and this summer and attending BU in the fall.
Johanna Dolle, Brookline
 Senior
  This year’s Bay State League MVP, Dolle placed third in the league tournament, scoring a 43, fourth in the state team tournament scoring an 82 and the state individual tournament scoring a 72. Dolle is going to Michigan this fall.
Brittani Hebenton, Lexington
 Senior
  A silver medalist in the State Games for Special Olympics golf, she placed sixth in the MIAA Scholastic Tournament. Hebenton won the Rotary Sports Award this season and posted a 7-1-1 record. This fall, she’s attending Hartford to play Division 1 Golf.
Courtney Lee, Notre Dame (Hingham)
 Junior
  Placing second in the Mass Bay League Championship scoring a 39, Lee posted a 15-1 personal record this season. Last year she nabbed first place in the Rockland Golf Course Club Championship and second at the Rockland Junior Open.
Amanda Levy, Nantucket
 Sophomore
  The second-year starter is the only girl on Nantucket’s boys’ varsity golf team. Posting a 9-1 personal record, she received the team’s most dedicated player for the second straight year. Watch out for Levy as she will be the captain of the team next season.
Maeva McKenna, Notre Dame (Hingham)
 Senior
  The undefeated captain was crowned a league all-star this season, leading Notre Dame of Hingham to its fourth undefeated season and state title. McKenna, who shot an 83 at the state individual tournament, is attending Franklin College in Switzerland.
Jacqueline McMenimon, SchoolSchool
 Senior
  McMenimon’s led Notre Dame to a first place finish in this year’s team golf tournament, posting an 82 to top the team’s scoring. McMenimon will be attending Pfieffer University on a golf scholarship, majoring in business managment.
Kaitlyn Sharpless, Dennis-Yarmouth
 Junior
  Focused on improving her mental game this season paid off as Sharpless led D-Y scoring a 78 in the team state tournament, contributing to the team placing third. This summer she is joining the AJGA, NEPGA tour, and the CCJG.
Annie Sperandio, Lexington
 Senior
  Finishing 12th in the MIAA tournament, Sperandio contributed to Lexington tying to for the Middlesex League title. She was a three-time first place winner in the Titelist Jr. PGA tournament. She is attending Fairfield to play Division 1 golf.
Kelsey Walsh, Falmouth
 Junior
  With Falmouth placing sixth in the team state tournament, the secondyear all-scholastic qualified for the New England interscholastic individual tournament. This summer she will compete in the WGAM and Cape Cod Junior Golf.
Brittany Weddell, Bourne
 Sophomore
  Success is an understatement for Weddell. Making the all-scholastic list and placing third in the individual tournament for the second year in a row, she easily is still the No. 1 golfer on Bourne’s boys’ varsity team.
Sarah Whitney, Hingham
 Senior
  The two-time all scholastic clinched second place in the state individual tournament, shooting a 70, one of two Hingham golfers to compete in the tournament. A medalist in the MIAA state team tournament, scoring a 71, landed Hingham second.
