Monet Brathwaite, Thayer Academy

Brathwaite was named ISL and New England Prep School championship meet MVP. The honor roll student was ISL and New England Preps champion at 200 and 400 meters and anchored the ISL and NE Preps champion 4 by 400 relay team.
senior / tennis

Thomas Darling, Thayer Academy

He went 15-0 in singles competition this season, which was no surprise since he hasn’t lost a match since eighth grade. An honor roll student, Darling also plays hockey, baseball, and soccer. He will play tennis at Elon University.
junior / track

Brian Donovan, Thayer Academy

Donovan set a school record in winning the ISL pole vault with a jump of 12 feet 6 inches and had a personal best in the javelin (158-8). In the New England Prep School championships, Donovan was second in the pole vault and fourth in the javelin.

Tatiana Fitzpatrick, Thayer Academy

Fitzpatrick established an ISL record in the long jump with a leap of 18 feet 1 inch. She also competes in the triple jump, 4 x 100 relay, and 100- meter dash. The Bay State Games participant also likes photography and playing guitar.
senior / lacrosse

Casey Griffin, Noble and Greenough

The center midfielder was ISL MVP and an All-American. The captain won her third ISL championship in her final season. Between lacrosse, ice hockey, and field hockey, she won a combined 10 ISL championships. She will attend Dartmouth in the fall.
senior / softball

Brittany Hart, Brooks

With a 51 wins, a 0.65 ERA, 652 strikeouts, 23 shutouts, and one no-hitter in her high school career, ISL competition will be happy to see Hart move on to Bryant University. She was also captain of the soccer and basketball teams.
senior / lacrosse

David Lawson, Middlesex

An All-American and ISL player of the year, he scored 55 goals and had 19 assists this season to finish his career with 184 points, second alltime at the school. Lawson, who also played football and basketball, will attend Duke University in the fall.
senior / baseball

Kyle McKenzie, Thayer Academy

With two ISL titles under his belt, McKenzie cemented himself as a key offensive player and pitcher. He batted .486 with 19 RBIs and went 7-0 with a 0.88 ERA. The Gatorade Mass. Player of the Year and ISL MVP plans to attend Tulane University.

Sophie Panarese, Milton Academy

Panarese went 15-0 in the ISL and is ranked in the top 5 in New England at 16 and under by the USTA. A former soccer player, Panerese has played in national tennis tournaments in California and Florida and enjoys cooking.

Taylor Peck, St. Sebastian's

In addition to helping the Arrows to an undefeated season, Peck won the ISL tournament, a year after finishing second. The National Honor Society member finished second in a US Challenge Cup Junior match-play event.
senior / track

Phil Royer, St. George's

The speedster didn’t lose at 1,500 or 3,000 meters in ISL or New England meets all season. He was voted MVP runner at the ISL meet and broke the New England Prep Division 3 records in the two events. Royer will attend Dartmouth College.

EIL

tennis / junior

Veronica Corning, Pingree

The USTA’s top-ranked 18-and-under player in New England won her second straight EIL MVP this season. Corning lost just one game all season and won the A singles title at the New England championships last month at Milton Academy.
senior / lacrosse

Aaron Harris, Berwick Academy

The senior captain is a two-time EIL All-Star and this spring earned MVP honors. His defensive work also earned him a spot in the East-West All-Star game. He was also captain of the hockey and golf teams and will attend Western New England.
junior / softball

Sarah Kelley, Bancroft

She went 15-2 with a 2.16 ERA and 114 strikeouts in 113 innings this season. Kelley was also a threat at the plate, hitting a walkoff home run to win the EIL tournament. She’s been an all-star since eighth grade and also plays field hockey.

Pierre Planche, Beaver Country Day

In leading Beaver Country Day to a 12-0 season that was capped by EIL and NEPSAC tournament championships, Pierre earned team and EIL Most Valuable Player honors. When not on the court, the 6-foot-2-inch Planche enjoys skiing.

Lamarre Rey, Pingree

The captain and league MVP batted .590 in his final season, giving him a .450 career batting mark. A Presidential Service Award winner, Rey was also a football and basketball all-star. Bentley University is his destination in the fall.
senior / lacrosse

Haley Thompson, Pingree

With more than 20 goals and 20 assists this season, the team captain and MVP capped an undefeated high school career, going 36-0. The Advanced Placement student was also an all-league field hockey player. She’ll play both sports at Trinity.

NEPSAC

Alex Amidon, Hotchkiss

A two-time New England Division 1 track MVP, Amidon won three events at this spring’s NEPSTA championships. He won the 400 in 49.52, was part of the winning 4 x 100 team (42.59), and set a meet record in winning the 200 in 21.90.
sophomore / water polo

Taylor Dunstan, Loomis Chaffee

The NEPSAC Tournament MVP scored 48 goals this season and set two school records with 83 assists and 122 steals. She’s also a member of the Northeast Zone Youth Team and was Loomis’s defensive MVP. She has 233 points in two seasons.
senior / track

Faimie Kingsley, Hotchkiss

Kingsley was a New England Division 1 champion in four events at this spring’s NEPSTA championships. She won the javelin (131-7), long jump (18-OE), and triple jump (37-6), and was part of Hotchkiss’s winning 4 x 100 relay team (49.50).
senior / tennis

Trey Meyer, Phillips Andover

Meyer came north from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and went 48-8 in his four-year varsity career. Captain of the team this season, he was 16-0 and won several school awards. Meyer will enroll at Williams College in the fall.
sophomore / softball

Sarah Onorato, Phillips Andover

The catcher hit .449 with 2 home runs and 27 RBIs this season, giving the two-year starter a career average of .482 with 4 homers and 42 RBIs. The honor roll student also plays volleyball and is interested in studying engineering in college.
senior / cycling

Hilary Rich, Phillips Andover

A two-time league champion in cycling and one of the top riders in the 30-year history of prep cycling, Rich is also prolific in winter as an All-American cross country skier. Hiking and traveling are among her hobbies. She’ll attend Middlebury.
senior / baseball

Robb Scott, Deerfield Academy

Scott didn’t allow an earned run this season, striking out 30 in 20‚ innings while earning three saves. He also was the winning pitcher in the league title game. The two-year captain also batted .352. He will enroll at Bucknell in the fall.
