Mountains of snow. Freezing temperatures. Charlestown's fifth state title in six years. Who said New England winters are boring? The region's scholastic landscape featured familiar faces (Weston swimming), fantastic finishes (Boston Latin hockey), and a host of fine individual efforts, led by Sarah Parsons of Nobles. Today the Globe toasts those who made this winter a little less chilling and a lot more thrilling.
