The versatile senior captain and four-year Catholic Conference All-Star collected her 200th point this season, a 26-goal-19-assist campaign, en route to her impressive 208 career point total. She was the conference MVP last year, her junior season. Cedorchuk, an honor roll student, also plays soccer and captains the softball team for Mount Saint Josephs and was a conference all-star in both sports. She enjoys the mall, hanging out with her friend, and playing street hockey. Cedorchuk has added to her high school hockey experience by participating in the Bay State Games and in the Beantown Classic. She will play hockey at Saint Anselm. | |
Lindsey Holland, Needham

Theres no challenge [Holland] hasnt faced. So said Needham coach Allisyn Furano before the season. The senior goaltender, a four-time Bay State All-Star and All-Scholastic closed the books on her successful career at Needham this season and proved that her coachs comments were correct. The No. 3 seed in the tournament, Needham lost to eventual champion Woburn. Holland, the only goaltender on the All-Scholastic team this year, has been an anchor for Needham. [Holland] has definitely anchored our program the last four years, said Furano. She plays with so much confidence and consistency. Shes unflappable. | |
Kara Kelley, Dedham

The first player in Dedham to break the 200-point barrier, Kelley leaves the school as the all-time leader in scoring with 228 points. With 38 goals and 32 assists, she led the talented Bay State League in scoring this season. Her twin sister, Kathy, also earned All-Scholastic honors. A senior captain, she knows how to win as shes been a part of four championship teams at Dedham (two in field hockey, two in ice hockey). A member of the honor roll, Kelley is the vice president of the National Honor Society and enjoys country concerts and reading. She will bring her hockey expertise to Bowdoin next year to play both ice hockey and field hockey. | |
Colleen Martin, Woburn

Need consistency? Then analyze Martins four years with the Tanners. After all, there isnt a whole lot Martin hasnt accomplished in her storied career with Woburn. The four-year All-Scholastic and three-time member of the Super Team led Woburn to three state titles (03, 04, 06) and three league titles (04, 05, 06) while amassing an unworldly +/- rating of +420. She earned MVP honors of the Middlesex League in each of the last three seasons, and was the team MVP this season. Martin, an honor roll student, had 41 points this year to finish her career with 160 points. The Hockey Night in Boston Division 1 player of the year also captained the Woburn soccer team and participates in figure skating. She enjoys singing and will attend Providence College next fall. | |
Arianna Rigano, Austin Prep

Rigano finished off a legendary Austin Prep career this season, leaving Reading as the schools all-time leading scorer with 246 points. She had 41 goals and 34 assists to lead the Cougars to the Division 1 semifinals. The two-time All-Scholastic earned MVP honors of the Catholic Central League for the second year in a row. She captained Austin Prep for the past three seasons, and led the Cougars to two league championships. A four-time league All-Star, Rigano is also a member of the Spanish National Honor Society. She plays softball, and helped AP win the Division 3 North title in 2005 and she also enjoys playing roller hockey. She will attend Saint Anselm next fall. | |
Laura Stirrat, Wellesley

The four-year Bay State League All-Star and two-year captain anchored the defense for the Division 2 state champions, while scoring 23 goals and 11 assists this season. Stirrat turned it on in the tournament, scoring four goals and an assist in four games, helping Wellesley finish at 19-0-3. She garnered the leagues MVP award with 19 goals and 10 assists in the regular season and she also took home the 2006 Boston Bruins Ice Hockey Sportsmanship Award. An honor roll student, Stirrat is also a captain for her soccer and lacrosse teams and has earned All-Star recognition in both sports, including three years on the Bay State League soccer All-Star first team. She is undecided on her college plans, but will play ice hockey or soccer next year. | |

Abby Gauthier, St. Marys Lynn

In just its first year in Division 1, St. Marys made it to the state semifinals, and Gauthier is a big reason for the teams success. Playing for the varsity team since she was the seventh grade, Gauthier, now a sophomore, has led her team in scoring in each of the past four seasons and has collected more than 200 career points. She also picked up her 100th career goal this season. Gauthier led St. Marys to a Division 2 state title last year and has twice been the team MVP. She also plays soccer and softball for the Spartans. She plays hockey for the East Coast Wizards, and participates in Hockey Night in Boston, the Beantown Classic, and the Chowder Cup. | |
Lydia Gibson, Wellesley

Gibson, Wellesleys leading scorer with 24 goals and 17 assists this season joined fellow senior Laura Stirrat in leading the Raiders to the Division 2 state title this year. The left wing, a four-time first team league All-Star in the Bay State League, has collected 172 career points, and led the team in scoring in each of her four years. She also plays lacrosse and field hockey for Wellesley and was the field hockey team MVP in 2005 and a first team Bay State League All-Star. Gibson also plays Futures field hockey and will attend St. Lawrence University next fall. | |

The junior defenseman provided a scoring punch from the blue line for the Cougars, picking up 22 goals and 25 assists this season. A three-time Catholic Central League All-Star, Hingston has played in the heralded Assabet Valley Girls Hockey Program. She also plays lacrosse and softball and enjoys playing roller hockey. She hopes to attend school in the Boston area to become a physical therapist, and lists Boston University, Northeastern, UVM, and Saint Anselm as some of her choices. Hingston has played at the USA Girls Selects camp, in the Bay State Games, Hockey Night in Boston, and the Beantown Classic. | |
Kathy Kelley, Dedham

Kelleys 132 career points in 102 games have made her the all-time leading scorer for defensemen at Dedham and her 28 goals and 34 assists this season placed her third in scoring in the Bay State League this season. She was a first team league All-Star for the second straight season. She has played for four state champion teams, two in ice hockey (Division 1 in 2005, Division 2 in 2002) and two in field hockey (03 and 05). Dedham was an ice hockey state finalist in 2003 and 2004. Kelley enjoys country music, going to concerts, and collecting seashells. Kelley, who is an honor roll student, is also a member of the National Honor Society and will study French at College of the Holy Cross. | |
Dominique Lozzi, Reading

Lozzis 36 goals and 36 assists this season earned her co-MVP honors of the Middlesex League. She was also awarded the Sportsmanship Award for the Middlesex League. The sophomore centers scoring punch (115 career points) helped to take the Rockets to the Division 2 championship game against Wellesley. An outstanding academic student, Lozzi takes all honors classes at Reading, and has earned a GPA of 3.96. She also plays lacrosse and enjoys running and working out. She has previously competed in the Bay State Games. | |
Brittany Lyons, Canton

This product of the Assabet Valley Girls Hockey Program led Eastern Mass in goals this season with 52. She also added 24 assists for a total of 76 points. She has amassed 136 points in her two-year career. Lyons, who often single-handedly outscored her opponents, led Canton to a 20-1 record and the Division 1 state championship game against Woburn. Hockey Night in Boston named the two-year Southeast Mass All-Star, a sophomore, the Biggest Surprise in girls hockey. She plays for the Assabet Valley U19 Red team and she participated in the Chowder Cup. She also plays soccer and lacrosse and enjoys swimming, but says her favorite hobby is hockey. | |
Maria Nasta, Andover

Nasta provided the scoring punch for the Andover team that made it to the Division 2 semi-finals this season with 51 goals and 15 assists. She finished her four-year career at Andover with 213 points (143 goals, 70 assists). An honor roll student, Nasta has been a four-year team MVP, a three-year All-Star, and a two-year all-conference star. She is captain of the softball team and earned all-star honors last season, and also enjoys snowboarding. She has played in the Bay State Games, Hockey Night in Boston, and for the East Coast Wizards. Nasta is undecided on her college plans. | |

Just a junior, OBrien likely will be a nuisance for Southeastern Mass girls hockey competition again next season. A Southeastern Mass All-Star for her 47-point season (28 goals, 19 assists), OBrien was a reliable offensive performer. The junior has more than 100 career points at Latin Academy and also plays softball for the Dragons. Off the field, her enjoyment of various activities continues as she is a member of the school concert band, for whom she plays the flute. Another interest for OBrien is dancing. She plays hockey and softball for the Metro Team at the Bay State Games, and she hopes to study elementary education in college. | |
Kathleen Roche, Boston Latin

Watch out for Roche the next two seasons. Only a sophomore, the two-time Dual County League leading scorer had 27 goals and 22 assists this season to give her 75 goals and 75 assists in her four-year career (including the seventh and eighth grades). She is also a two time all-star in the DCL and was named to the first team this season after Latins 14-5-2 campaign. An honor roll student, Roche also plays varsity softball and soccer and was the team MVP of her softball team last year. She is on the Charles River U16 1 hockey team and plays in the Bay State Games for softball and hockey. Roche, who enjoys sports and music, plans to play hockey in college. | |
Stephanie Scarpato, Barnstable

The junior center has been among the top scorers in Eastern Mass for three years. Already Barnstable and the Cape Cod and Islands leading scorer in just three seasons, her 44 goals and 36 assists this season left her 1 point shy of 200 for her career (114 goals and 85 assists for 199 points). She was named the best winter female athlete at Barnstable, and she led the Red Raiders to the Division 2 semifinals. She has been an Eastern Mass All-Star for three consecutive years. Scarpato, an honor roll student, also plays for the Cape Cod Sharks U19 team and hopes to attend college in the Northeast. | |

Don Callow, Canton

Callows team went all the way to the Division 1 state final before losing to Woburn, the lone blemish on an otherwise amazing 20-1 season that included the Southeastern Mass League championship. A Brockton High and Boston College graduate, Callow has coached girls ice hockey for six years, and his Canton team has knocked off a 36-3 record in the last two seasons. He was named the Division 2 Coach of the Year in 2002. About his team, he said that this was a hard-working group of girls who played with passion. Talent, an eager underclass, and senior leadership brought out the best in everyone. Callow played baseball in school and enjoys playing golf. | |
George Campbell, Wellesley

Campbell coached Wellesley to the Bay State League and Division 2 championships and put together the only undefeated record in Eastern Mass (19-0-3). His team finished No. 1 in the Globe Top 20. The eight-year girls ice hockey coach graduated from Waltham High (1966), where he played football, hockey, and track, and from Northeastern University (1971), where he played football for three seasons. Campbell, who also coaches football and track, credits the success of this years team to the seniors, whose talent, experience, and work ethic took them a long way. He also extends credit for the teams success to his associate coach, Tom Hammond, and to his first-year assistant coach, Chris Forde. | |
