Jeanette Anderson, Lynn English

MVP of the Northeastern Conference Large, Anderson made Lynn English history this season by becoming the first Bulldog to top 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. The 5-foot-11-inch senior center will attend Caldwell College this fall.

Jaclyn Lyons, Reading

Despite suffering a season-ending knee injury her sophomore year, Lyons still managed to notch more than 1,000 career points. The Middlesex League MVP averaged 19 points and six assists this season. She’ll attend New Hampshire.

Mary Nwachukwu, Dighton-Rehoboth

Nwachukwu makes All-Scholastic again, averaging 22 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 blocks this season. The 6-foot-2-inch power forward, who will attend Boston College this fall, is the Falcons’ all-time leading scorer with 1,590 career points.

Amber Smith, Ipswich

With 1,819 points and 1,099 rebounds, Smith is Ipswich High’s all-time leading scorer. The McDonald’s All-American nominee averaged 22.8 points and 13 rebounds this season to lead the Tigers to another Cape Ann League title.

Katie Zenevitch, Central Catholic

The Boston College-bound 6-foot-3- inch center helped lead the Raiders to their first state title. The Merrimack Valley Conference MVP topped 1,000 points and averaged 15 points, 15 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks this season.

Coaches of the Year

division 1

Fred Hogan, Lynn English

Hogan led the Bulldogs to a 20-4 record and a Northeastern Conference Large championship, which hadn’t been accomplished since 1995. Hogan, who also serves as an assistant football coach, has a 49-37 record in his four years of coaching.
division 2

Michael Barrett, Notre Dame Academy (Hingham)

The Duxbury High and Stonehill graduate helped bring the Cougars a Division 2 state title after a 21-5 season. Barrett, a 16-year coaching veteran, called this committed group ‘‘the perfect example of a team. They believed in each other.’’
division 3

Jack Hughes, Swampscott

This season’s Northeastern Conference Small coach of the year helped assemble a 23-2 team that won an NEC Small championship and a state Division 3 title. After 22 years of coaching, Hughes called this year a dream season.
division 4

Greg Berry, New Mission

In his first season coaching New Mission, Berry helped the team finish with a 21-2 record and make a run to the Division 4 North final. Berry, who served as an assistant to the boys’ basketball team last year, brought a defensive edge to the Lady Titans.

All-Scholastics

Beatrice Atkinson, Brockton

The senior guard was a Big Three All-Star this season, averaging 16 points per game in leading the Boxers to the Division 1 South title. The Brockton star enjoys reading and listening to music and hopes to continue her basketball career in college.

Allie Beaulieu, Swampscott

The Northeastern Conference Small co-MVP led the league in shooting 46 percent from 3-point range. She averaged 17 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds this season and was selected for the Referee Association Award for sportsmanship.

Molly Breen, Millis

The Mohawks couldn’t have earned a Division 4 state title without their junior center, who tallied 440 points this year. The Tri-Valley League All- Star has 939 points through three seasons, averaging about 17 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Courtney Donovan, Bourne

The 6-foot-2-inch forward averaged 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 blocks this season, racking up a career total of 987 points. Assumption-bound Donovan served her second year as captain and MVP to help lead Bourne to a South Coast Conference title.

Asia Ewing, Westford Academy

A Dual County League All-Star for three straight years, Ewing added league MVP honors this season. The 5-foot-10-inch forward averaged 12 points per game in leading the Grey Ghosts to a 20-3 record and a DCL title.

Courtney Finn, Winthrop

For a fourth straight season Finn was named a Northeastern Conference all-star, ending her career with 1,747 points. The Bentley-bound Finn had a standout offensive season, averaging 21 points per game, to make her an All-Scholastic returnee.

Katy Howard, Medway

Assumption-bound Howard averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists during her Tri-Valley League MVP season to lead the Mustangs in scoring and assists for a fourth year. Howard also won the Hopkinton Three-Point Shootout this year.

Tara Nimkar, Swampscott

The co-MVP of the Northeastern Conference Small is the all-time leading scorer for Swampscott girls’ basketball with 1,377 career points. She averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds this season to help lead the Big Blue to a state Division 3 title.

Emily Trapp, Whitman-Hanson

Notching more than 1,600 points and 800 rebounds in her career gave the senior the school records in both categories. The three-time Patriot League all-star averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds this season as the Panthers finished 22-3.

Jenna Roncarati, Bishop Feehan

When last year’s All-Scholastic star Amy Lepley was injured, Roncarati stepped up. The Eastern Athletic Conference all-star, who is also known for her skills on the soccer field, averaged more than 20 points per game this season.
