The Super Team

senior / center

Stephanie Invernizzi, Hingham

Invernizzi is an All-Scholastic for the second consecutive season. The center’s 25 goals and 16 assists this year were crucial for Hingham, which made it to the state Division 1 semifinals after winning the Division 2 crown last year.
senior / forward

Lauren Lepore, Arlington Catholic

With 53 points this year and 189 for her career, Lepore is now the all-time leading scorer for the Cougars. The Catholic Central Conference MVP also plays for the Middlesex Islanders and has played four years of varsity softball.

Rebecca O'Quinn, Arlington

O’Quinn, a captain during the past two years for Arlington, won Dual County League player of the year honors and was named to her fourth all-star team. The forward has been named All-Scholastic twice, and also was an all-star in soccer and lacrosse.

Alex Smith, St. Mary's

Smith was a leader on a talented St. Mary’s defense that helped the team go undefeated in back-to-back seasons. The senior got teammates involved by recording 22 assists this season and had 65 over the course of her career.
junior / forward

Courtney Winters, St. Mary's

Winters led EMass scorers with 65 points this season and has recorded 168 in her career. The junior is a three-time Catholic Central all-star and helped St. Mary’s put up back-toback undefeated seasons, capped by Division 1 state titles.
senior / goalie

Molly Passerini, Wakefield

Passerini recorded six shutouts and boasted a goals-against average of 1.53 as Wakefield finished 13-5-5. A two-time All-Scholastic, the senior has been named to the Middlesex All-Star team twice and was Co-MVP of the league last season.

Coaches of the Year

division 1

Jeff Mead, Arlington

Mead led Arlington to the Division 1 semifinals the past two seasons and won the Greater Boston League in 2007 and 2008. The UMass-Boston graduate, who played 10 years of professional hockey in the minors and overseas, is 50-12-6 at Arlington.
division 2

Robert Huxley, Fontbonne

Huxley led the Ducks to an 18-4-2 record and the Division 2 state championship. A Charlestown High graduate who enjoys golf and biking, Huxley credited his players for coming together as a team this year and committing themselves to success.

All-Scholastics

senior / defenseman

Madeline Bilodeau, Concord-Carlisle

Bilodeau, a four-time Dual County League All-Star, capped her senior season by recording 38 points, giving her a career total of 138, as Concord- Carlisle finished 12-5-5. She was also a DCL MVP and all-star for the Patriots in field hockey.
senior / center

Colleen Callahan, Woburn

Callahan’s 39 points this season were instrumental in helping Woburn capture the Middlesex League crown and reach the state championship. The senior, who picked up 151 points in her career, was also named to the Middlesex League All-Star team.
junior / defenseman

Shannon Cronin, Wakefield

Cronin scored 12 goals and dished out 17 assists this season, giving her a career total of 68. She was named the Middlesex League’s co-MVP. The junior also takes the ice as a player for the Middlesex Islanders and plays soccer and softball for Wakefield.
senior / defenseman

Katie Davis, Woburn

Davis (126 career points) has been a model of consistency for the Tanners, being named a four-time Middlesex League All-Star and this year’s co- MVP. She scored 26 goals and picked up 16 assists this year, helping Woburn to the Division 1 state final.

Emily LaRosa, Notre Dame Academy

LaRosa has been a captain the past two season for the Cougars and led this year’s team to an 11-9-2 record. The school’s all-time leading scorer was the Catholic Conference MVP, recording 34 points, and was a fourtime Catholic Conference all-star.

Kelsey Magrane, St. Mary's

Magrane was a Catholic Central all-star four times, including once as an eighth-grader. She helped the Spartans win a second straight state title with a shutout in the final while recording an impressive goalsagainst average of 0.83.

Allison Manzella, Framingham

The Bay State League Player of the Year was named team MVP for a third year. Manzella, who notched 40 goals and 17 assists this season and totaled 179 points in her career, plans to attend UMass-Boston to study criminal justice.

Rachel Porter, Franklin

Porter scored 42 goals and added 12 assists in her final season, which helped earn her Southeastern Conference All-League honors. The team MVP for Franklin, Porter has been a captain for two seasons and an allstar for four.
Sophomore / Forward

Taylor Shepherd, Fontbonne

Shepherd capped an impressive sophomore season by picking up hat tricks in the Ducks’ state Division 2 semifinal and championship game wins. The forward scored 35 goals this season and was named to the Catholic Conference All-Star team.
junior / center

Brittany Soar, Acton-Boxboro

Soar led the Dual County League in scoring with a career-high 43 points on 22 goals and 21 assists to help Acton-Boxboro capture the DCL Large crown. The honor roll student has now picked up 99 points in three season.
