All-Patriot League
Holy Cross senior Liz Frisoli of Winchester has been named a first-team All-Patriot League defender after helping spark the Crusaders lacrosse team to a 10-8 overall record and to the Patriot League playoff championship game for the first time in four years and only the second in the program's history. Frisoli, former Winchester captain, led a HC defense that allowed an average of 9.11 goals per game -- second lowest in the Patriot League -- and was the Crusaders' defensive MVP. She'll continue her lacrosse career in Adelaide, Australia, where she'll play and coach the Gleneig Club. Frisoli followed former Winchester teammate Katie Britt to Holy Cross. Britt graduated last year as the school's second-leading goal scorer with 137 and among the top 10 all-time Patriot League scorers.
